St James' C of E Infant and Nursery School runs a very successful Breakfast and After School clubs.

The Breakfast Club runs from 7.45am to 8.45am each school morning.  The charge is £4.00 per session and children can be dropped off any time after 7.45am.

The After School Club runs from 3.15pm to 5.15pm.  The charge is £4.00 for the first hour attended or £7.00 for up to two hours and children can be picked up at any time before 5.15pm.

You can book your child onto either club using the School Money App. We ask that you do this by midnight the day before you wish your child to attend as places are limited. 

Both clubs are run from the hall and there are many activities available to the children.  Games and toys are widely used but children can also do drawing, reading etc. if they want to.  The clubs also have resources for outdoor play in fine weather and many structured activities are organised for the children if they want to participate.  We also understand if some children prefer some quiet time, particularly in the After School Club and space is provided for this too.

For children arriving in the Breakfast Club before 8.30am, breakfast such as cereal, toast, pancakes etc. and a drink are provided. For children staying beyond 4pm, a snack is provided in the After School Club.

Most parents use the clubs to fit around their work patterns, but some parents also find that the clubs are useful for “one-off” sessions too for things such as shopping trips or appointments.  All children are very welcome and we often find that children who have no need to use the clubs still like to be involved now and again.

Children should be brought to, and collected from, the side porch exit on the top playground.  The main entrance to the school is kept locked when the clubs are in use.

Our Breakfast Club is ran by Miss Joanne Bragg and Miss Eloise Cocksedge.

Our After School Club is ran by Mrs Emma Branney and Miss Katherine Brown.
