Our Christian Values
At St James' C of E Infant School, our Christian Values are at the heart of everything we do. We plan links to our half termly topics and we expect our children to have a good understanding of each one and how it impacts on how we act both in and out of school. We plan links into our lessons and our Collective Worship each half term is linked to our Christian Value. Children develop a good understanding of key bible teachings which highlight the value as well as other stories, poems, artwork and multimedia. Within each value, we have a linked bible story which children learn about and they reflect how this teaching demonstrated this. Our values are also shared with parents each half term with a special newsletter outlining how they can support their child. Also each half term, children in each year group lead their own collective worship around our Christian Value.
