Transition

All of our children transfer to St James' CofE Junior School at the end of Year 2.  We work very closely with the Junior School and have a well versed timetable of transition for the children in Year 2.  This starts with the teachers visiting our Year 2 children early on in the year and then there are lots of activities where the children visit the Junior School. We find that this makes the transition as seamless as possible. When in the Junior School there are also opportunities for the children to come back for visits.
