Welcome to Scafell Class!
Mrs King is our class teacher and Miss Cocksedge is our Senior Teaching Assistant.
We hope that you like looking at what we have been doing in class.
Homework
We believe the partnership between home and school is vital and we also appreciate that children may be tired after a day or week at school. Therefore children will usually receive homework weekly which will either be Literacy or Numeracy focused. We also want our children to read at least 5 times a week at home to ensure they make good progress with their reading. Improving children's reading is a partnership between school and home.
We also recognise that children enjoy to play games on technology like tablets and computers so we have invested in Times Table Rock Stars, Education City and the Spelling Shed so children can access educational content at home.
