Road Safety Week - November 2024

Key Stage 1 took part in a Pyjama Drama workshop highlighting the Green Cross Code and the children practised how to cross the road safely.

PCSO Mark Fishpool came into school to talk to the children about keeping safe on the roads and making sure they can be seen by wearing bright clothing.

Fire Safety - November 2024

As part of our topic on The Great Fire of London, Cumbria Fire and Rescue kindly came in to speak to the children about fire prevention.

Life Education - May 2024

We had a visit from Sarah at Life Education who spoke to the children about how to look after ourselves and keep ourselves healthy. The children practised cleaning Harold the Giraffe's teeth and giving him a wash.

First Aid - January 2024

Paul from SHN Training came into school to teach the children about first aid. The children had lots of fun with the bandages but also learned some critical life skills too on how to help in an emergency.

Online Safety - October 2023

The children have been learning about how to keep themselves safe online and why this is important.
